Pink oxalis tastes like a memory I can't quite place. Don't eat it. I'm just saying the color is delicious. Like strawberry lemonade in July, like the icing on a birthday cake from a bakery with a line out the door. People queue at 8 a.m. for it. The clover leaves are that deep, greedy green you only get from something well fed and slightly spoiled. I'd water them daily. I'd talk to them over morning coffee, which is turning into a whole personality for me, apparently. There's a bakery near my place that does a pink-frosted scone on Saturdays. First one out of the oven, still too hot to eat. That's this. That exact energy. Small, sour-sweet, and gone in three bites. Eat slowly. Trust me on this one. #oxalis #pinkflowers #slowliving
