Up there. On the giant stone head, tiny paws resting on the carving like it's the comfiest chair in the world. Someone carved this face centuries ago and now a monkey is using it as a lounger, tail curled, eyes half-closed, completely unbothered. King of the castle. The forest around him is all green and dripping and soft. Bamboo leans in from every side like it's trying to listen. He looks so small up there. So proud. Like he climbed all that way just to see what the stone was smiling about. I think he found out. It's smiling because the sun comes through the trees like this every morning and nobody has to earn it. Not the monkeys. Not the stones. Not us. #monkey #forest #greeneverywhere
