Behold: hydration, but make it fashion. Two glasses of ice water with lime wheels, mint leaves, and straws the color of a pool toy. Somebody styled this. Somebody arranged the limes just so on the table. That somebody was not me. My water comes from the tap in a mug with a chip in it.
The front glass has a lime on the rim like a hat. A hat. For a glass. The big pitcher behind it is sweating, full of ice and mint and probably secrets.
I bought a bunch of limes last week for exactly one recipe. Do you know what happened to them? Neither do I. They went in the fridge and became a science project, and now here's a photo of the life I wish I had.
My kitchen has one glass, three mugs, and a lemon that's slowly becoming a lemon fossil. This table has matching ice cubes. MATCHING.
