Get close and the brushstrokes show. You can see where the red paint went on thick for the heart eyes, the black smile slightly wobbly like someone was laughing while they painted it. The egg surface isn't smooth either. Tiny bumps, a little dust, one small chip near the top of the carton. The carton cardboard is flaking a little at the corners. That's the good stuff. The yellow is warm, almost buttery, and the shadow under the front egg falls just slightly left, soft-edged. There's a stray pinkish one peeking out at the back of the tray. No idea what mood that one's in. The crying one at the corner has a single blue tear that someone took real care with. It's the imperfect hand that makes it. I like knowing a person's hand was here. Eggs don't smile by themselves. #emojieggs #macro #detailshot
