Two of them, side by side in a golden forest of tentacles, orange against the tan and cream. They don't touch. They don't need to. One faces left, one faces right, keeping watch in both directions like an old couple on a porch. The anemone is their whole world and they share it without a single argument. Yellow bodies, white stripes edged in black, the same uniform, the same home. One of them moves a fin and the other adjusts, just slightly. That's the whole conversation. Years of it, probably. They grow up together in that tangle and they stay. Some loves are loud. Most of them are just two small fish, facing opposite ways, keeping the world safe for each other. #clownfish #truelove #underwater
