So this field is basically a screensaver and I'm not okay about it. Green grass going forever, fog lying on top like a blanket that won't get off, one dramatic tree standing there like it's on an album cover, and the sky doing that blue-to-peach thing where it looks like somebody filtered the whole world. There's even a fence post in the foreground doing nothing. Iconic. I walked through a field like this once, in sneakers, and learned two things. One, fog gets your socks wet. Two, cows appear from nowhere when you least want them. This field seems cow-free, but I'm not taking chances. The clouds are streaky, all pulled sideways like someone combed them. Very aesthetic. Very damp. Ten out of ten, would complain about the mud again. The lone tree on the left has that full leafy top and two reaching branches, like it's waving at a plane. Behind it the tree line goes dark and soft, all merged into one fuzzy hedge. Somebody call a photographer. Or a farmer. Or my mom, she loves this kind of thing. The mist is winning. As always. Bring boots. #field #fog #greengrass #aesthetic
