I almost walked past this. Then I stopped, and looked, and the whole world narrowed down to two leaves and the water on them. Every drop is holding a piece of the light, round and full and perfectly balanced. One big bead near the center is doing the hardest job, sitting on the leaf's middle vein without rolling either way. The green is so deep it feels like a room you could step into. Nothing in me is rushing right now. I breathe in and the air is cold and wet and it fills my chest all the way. My shoulders drop. My jaw unclenches. Something I didn't know I was holding lets go. The drops don't move. The leaf doesn't move. There is nowhere else to be. In for four. Out for six. The mind keeps trying to plan tomorrow. I keep coming back to the water on the leaf. It's enough. It's always been enough. Attention is a gift you give yourself first. I stay ten more minutes. It costs nothing. It's the best ten minutes of my day. #dewdrops #macro #mindfulness
