This coastline is basically a plate somebody arranged on purpose. Turquoise water for the sauce, green land for the herbs, those yellow flowering trees sprinkled over the top like someone went wild with the zest. I ate breakfast on the terrace above this view and honestly, nothing on the menu could compete. The eggs were fine. The view was dessert. Salt in the air, the good kind that gets in your coffee and improves it. The road runs the shoreline like a spoon laid down next to the dish, and the boats are out there working, tiny as crumbs. I sat there for an hour with a warm cup going cold in my hands. Nobody rushed me. The sea doesn't rush. It just keeps bringing the same two colors to the table, blue and green, and every morning they taste like the first time. I'd eat this view for breakfast every day if I could. Some places feed you before the food even arrives. The bread was warm too, which felt like showing off. Everything was showing off. Even the butter. Good. Worth it. #coastline #breakfastview #seaside
